Our Kids Complete skateboard is the perfect option for a young beginner.
The size and specifications of this board have been intentionally designed to fit a smaller rider. The wheelbase (distance between the wheels) sits at 13.25” inches. This allows the rider to stand directly over the trucks which provides ample control over the skateboard, without needing to widen their stance further than shoulder width.
The width of the skateboard is 7.5” wide which we find to be the perfect middle ground size for a kid’s skateboard. It is narrow enough to provide control over either rail of the deck making it easy to maneuver, but wide enough to provide ample stability when learning.
This complete skateboard comes stocked with Ace 22 Trucks and Mini Logo 53mm tall wheels with a 90a durometer. Ace makes a very high quality, durable skateboard truck that is great for the beginner and professional alike. The Mini Logo wheels were specifically chosen for their size and durometer, which is a measurement of the hardness of the wheel. The 90a durometer is perfect for a beginner. The wheel is hard enough to function as intended on ramps and smooth surfaces, but soft enough to provide a bit more comfort when learning to push around sidewalks or rougher pavement. Its 53mm size is nimble and lightweight ensuring that it doesn’t hinder your ability to learn tricks.
